Agnes Risley history

School Name History:
Mrs. Agnes Risley taught in Nevada schools from 1946-1963. She began her longhistory of service on local school boards as a member of the Sparks School Board #29. Mrs. Risley served for ten years on the Sparks Board before being appointed to the newly created Washoe County School District Board of Trustees in 1956. She was a dedicated member of the Board until 1962. While a member of the Board, she held the position of
clerk for seven consecutive years.
