Edwin Dodson Elementary School history

Distinguished among all Nevada educators, Edwin Stanton Dodson, Department Chair of School Administration and Higher Education at the University of Nevada, Reno, was born at Old Empire in Ormsby County, Nevada. During forty years of dedicated, outstanding service to education and to the youth of Nevada, Dr. Dodson was an elementary, middle school and high school principal. He also served as an assistant superintendent of schools in Washoe County.
